JOHNSEY;It all depends on how often you use your reel and whether you are continually loading the drag up under load ie oyster rack breaming etc.It will not last as long as a more expensive daiwa such as the regal z series or new hardbodyz series but you get what you pay for.You may be happy to just keep replacing it with a cheap one once it wares out.It will still catch plenty of bream and no doubt fits the pocket budget

Andrew,

you got a fantastic deal, the Regal-S is two models down from the well regarded and long running Regal-Z model. Looks to me like the retail on that reel is normally at least double what you paid for it.

Congrats, enjoy your reel :-)

Question How much ???

I can't even buy them for that Andrew, you got a good deal there. I use the regal Z in the comps, as did Tim the Bream until someone dropped a couple of Stella's off at his front door. They are a great reel. Coming from the same stable, I'm sure it will give you hours of reliable fishing.

Warren.

Nice, balanced outfit. You won't be able to blame that for any lack of fish caught ;-)
