gday guys, this sites great, didnt even know there were people who are crazy enough to fish at southbank till i read the forums! anyway put my pride aside and had a short session this morn annd got my first bream on the plastics plus i lost a few more!
im farely new to fishing plastics for bream (im a born n bred flyfisho) so this site is a great help cheers F.B.

Welcome to the site FB. Nothing wrong with fly mate. There are still a few of us hoping to get into it a LOT more. I think it's the next BIG challenge.

G'day FB,
This is a great site if you're into bream on lures, keep an eye on that Swank-E character and Pete S, they have been honing the Yarra/Melb CBD bream techniques and seem to have the situation all worked out. I fished the area last Sunday and got more excercise than fish, but I'll be back... It's good to see more Vic's getting together via this and other websites and having a fish together and sharing tips and locations. Some other Melb/Vic anglers that appear here are Blackwater, Kris, Sandworm, bparker and rodmy, and I'm sure there are others.

gday pw, dont worry i know the feeling, i usually fish for the bream at the docklands only to have them laugh in my face lol. i was actually quite suprised when i hooked my first this morning!
if you guys are interested in havin a swoff for em with the flyrod then we should organise a day for it, espiecially now that vic trout fishing is becoming a bit of a flop! cheers F.B.

i would LOVE to see someone down south bank/ casino fly fishing for bream... that will definitely draw a huge crowd (who inevitably will walk to the edge and spook the fish)... love to see it whiping back towards the crowd and they'd freak!
i see you have taken my advice on FishVictoria.com to actually join this site F.B.... welcome! maybe see you down there on saturday?
