Team Diawa Advantage Problems

Hey Guys...

I've got a TD Advantage 1500 that i'm having some issues with.

The reel itself is fine, the problem i'm having is getting the fireline back on the spool properly... after casting out, i retrieve slowly obviously and the line seems to sit below the bottom lip of the spool.

Is there anything i can do?

I'm thinking about buying a Stradic anyway so maybe that will fix it...

Apply some tension with your fingers on the initial retrieve at least and potentially change lines..

The market buys millions of these things in both brands with intensive testing.

More than likely the problem isnt the reel Mine29Surf.

I have a problem with my TD-A aswell. I kind of lost it in Melbourne the other day some how...

Your problem sounds like tention in the line or you might have over filled the spool. How far from the lip of the spool is the line layed mate?
If there is the right amount of line on the spool it would just be that your not aplying enough tention to your line when you retrieve (Its kind of hard to when your fishing!!). Im guessing that if you put a heavier weight on the problem stops?!

cheers, Nathan

Apply a bit initial pressure with the finger before starting the retrival, or add more washer behind the spool
