AU $94.33 including a spare metal spool

Have a look on Ebay at
http://stores.ebay.com.au/MINSTOR-TACKLE/Home.html

The Penn is just a re-badged Ryobi. The Affinity is called Ryobi Zauber 1000. Its slightly different in colour and it has a metal quick fold handle not the machine cut one the Penn has.

I got a Penn affinity from a store here in Australia (no spare spool) and love it so much I decided to get a second, but got it from these guys on Ebay, found them to be totally reliable, in-fact the quickest and easiest thing I have got on Ebay.

I've got the 1000 Penn Affinity, very nice reel in that price range. V. smooth drag and good pressure.

Mick
I've also done what Buff did. Got a Affinity 4000 for my flatty outfit and was so impressed by it I got a Ryobi Zauber 3000 from Ebay/Minstor tackle (reliable service- but maybe they sell factory seconds as both reeels I got from Minstor had minor scratches?).

Whichever way you go, a Affinity/Zauber is a great reel for the price. The line lay is fantastic, they way a slow worm drive, meaning I can fish with genuine braids easily. I reckon this is their best selling point. I think long-term durability (>5 yrs) will be the issue compared to more expensive reels.

Bear in mind that they say "Designed and Engineered in Japan" but are Made in China.
