Nice...

Can't think of a better imitation of a herring. They're awesome. Floating, shallow divers I assume?

Yeah mate, they do sinking ones as well but i couldnt get them anywhere.

They actually recommend fishing them with split shot.........

They are the size of a baby vibe with the double hook swinging on the bottom

Now those look very sweet. Good herring/bony bream body shape. Also a gravid (preggers) mosquitofish. Awesome.

The middle body placement would be good for topwater, as the majority of the fish go for a killing belly bite.

For use as a crankbait though, we are finding that all the HB bream we've been getting have nailed the tail. Tells a lot about how they attack baitfish. A surprise attack from below aims to kill with one shot, then come back and finish the job (we get them to strike sometimes 3 or 4 times). Chasing/ambushing a fleeing baitfish, they'll disable them by chewing the tail off.

I'd still give those a whirl though. What's the damage gonna be? LOL!

24 bucks a pop your kidding right!
Saw them the other day for 1000 yen about 12 bucks
Dont know where you guys buy Japanese lures but you pay too too much.
Megabass stuff is nice but overpriced, I would only buy it at Sale price.
