Apparently, you're supposed to roll 'em...

At 12g a piece, if you pause, I find they just plummet down. Wind up having to fish it just a bit fast for most things in my opinion. It's a pity, as they're beautifully made, and run straight and true at any speed.

All I've gotten is a small estuary cod, and by that, I mean 20cm or so. Hardly what I expected when I first got it. Nevertheless, I'll give them another shot when I go out into the blue, or when the water clears up...

It really depends on where your fishing them Deacon. At Walpole Stu Gordon and I caught heaps by jigging them. I have caught them in the Swan by slow rolling them and also jigging them around structure. They take a little getting used to but when you do

I'm always looking at different lures both cheap and expensive so LakePolice (Jackall Bross) lures were always going to catch my attention with all the hype with this big name. I've seen them on Ebay but like most needed to see and touch them in the store to see if they could suit the fishing i do.
The Tiny Fry 50 is what i have been having the most success with here on the East Coast, it's 50mm lure which is a bit bigger than my usual first choice and Suspending as well which is not what i go for first in hard body but i have loved the change from floaters. The bream seem to love em as they hit hard when hooking up and cast well with shape size and weight (2.7g) and some nice colors if you can get your hands on the gun selections as they sell real quick! Well worth giving a try!

havent had much luck on them in the salt water for bream. but in boondooma dam i have had alot of success trolling these lures, and caught 70 bass in one day! perhaps you could try trolling the jackalls in salt water.

...........Ha ha shame about the boat race. They troll well but you can make these lures do a lot casting and bouncing them then letting them hang (suspend) of rocks and logs in shallow water with some practice, I'm still learning! I drew a nice Bream out from behind some wood a few days ago using this method.

Jackalls

Hey All,

I Use quite a few Jackalls, TN50's and Maskvibes, the best way to fish them is either roll them out or vertically jig them, specially against rockwalls etc, they take a little more playin with than most bream gear but tend to get good fish on them.
cheers,
chris
