Rhetto mate you got a size for this calcutta. Beacause calcuttas make alot of overheads in alot of sizes that can be used offshore. Calcuttas are a great reel ive used heaps of them and they are reel smooth.......... especially staright out of the box.

ive got 3 calcuttas

the 700 would be the size you are thinking of.
i love the reel
only thing i dont like is that i bought one with the line guide thing.
i much prefer to lay the line myself.
i probably wouldnt buy another though as i feel there are better reels out there for that money. jmo

TLDS over Calutta

my opinion is a calcutta isnt the way to go for deep dea fishing depends how deep, between 60 - 100 metres your best option is to go for a TLD 25 or a TLD 30 due to the fact its got a great crank retrieval and holds more line then the calcutta but dont get me wrong the calcuttas are great for barra and mulloway things like that but for deep sea i strongly recommend the TLD 25 or 30 2speed i fish with both myself..... tlds are alot cheaper as well there my favourtie reel by far becausse they have 1 peice graphite body which makes them light , 5.2:1 ratio , can be used to JIG, TROLL, and catch dhu's with a all purpose reel
