Stacer Barra and Quintrex Hornet
Guys, is it the Barra and the Hornet hulls that are identical due to Stacer (?) and Quitrex being made in the same factory?
cheers Chris

Chris,
As far as I'm aware the "Millenium" hull (as featured on the Hornet) is only available on the hulls branded as Quintrex.

Yar that's what I thought until I heard that Quintrex and some other brand (Stacer? Bermuda?) are built in the same factory, and that the Hornet has an identical hull to some other boat...
Just wondering if this was the case...? cheers

Chris, it was Bermuda that was taken over by Quintrex.
And I think there is a Stacer, maybe a Bass(?) that kind of looks like a skinny hornet from the front. |

While I can't help with Chris's hull question, I can help with the Quintrex, Stacer, Bermuda thing.
Stacer was taken over by Quintrex and is maintained as a brand name. Bermuda is marketed by Mercury Marine - see http://www.mercurymarine.com.au/mmweb.nsf/pages/bermuda It's entirely possible than Qunitrex makes both Stacer and Bermuda now - however I have not seen any news that bermuda has been taken over by Quintrex.
