Cool Virgin hardbodies

Have joined the ABT this year and am looking at going in the Manning and Clarence comps. I have been fishing soft plastics for about a year now and have a good selection but find on some days the fish just will not bite.I noticed in the recent AFC that when this happens they will switch to hard bodies but i have know idea when it comes to these. I know i may open a bees nest with this question but if any one could help me with an idea of which lures are the best it would be a great help.

Hi Maeb,
a couple of HBs you could try are the River2Sea Baby Vibe or the static shad 45.

go and grab some sx40s,really as many as you can afford(not cheap) these are pretty much the sh!t,some others worth looking at would be attacks, oar gees, deceptions and strike pros.
HTH.

Hey Goldilocks take it easy - the bloke is asking a legitimate question.

Theres nothing like up to date info - I'm sure you've read a responce on this site that helped you out so dont hog the porridge.

I use the sx40f eco gear hard bodies. They catch alot of fish but not always the biggest fish -

I sometimes wonder if a 15cm bream can pluck up the courage to take on the eco 40mm - would he have baulked at a bigger lure, and given those true blue noses a chance.

yeh the paint job and build quality of some lures make them unusable where I fish for bream. Ie bashing them into concrete at full speed. The eco's love it but others break like egg shells.

the lasere pro in gold/black is a great first hard bodie to use for beginners to hb's try and work them quite slow and keep them into the strike zone as long as possible

Mate, if your order was under 100 buckeroos you'll probaly wait upto 8 days.

That is why I order over $100, only wait 5 days max.
