Hi everyone

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. New to the site, but enjoying it so much, that there is no time to browse through the second favourite www.fishvictoria.com I really enjoy this site, found hips of info on any subject, very informative and friendly. I started bream fishing about a year ago at Melbourne Docklands and just can't stop. The fight they put is nowhere near other fish, so I am hooked! Last Monday lost a BIG one with my fav. scorpion35 - used 2 kg mono. Thanks to you, guys bought a spool of 6 lb Fireline (always was sceptical before), spooled it and can't wait coming weekend.
Thanks for all replies and help on line in advance.
Cheers
Alex

Alex, you'll no doubt be happy with the 6kg Fireline - but man, wait till you get hold of the 4kg

Good luck with it.

Good to hear Alex, there's definitely plenty of Bream down that way - my problem was actually hooking them when I was down there last.....

Good fishing

G'day Alex,
there are a few of us here that also fish the Docklands area, Pete S especially.
Maybe we'll see you there some time.
I also frequent fishvictoria, but there is better specialist bream fishing discussion here :-)

The fight is even better if you drop down to 4lb fireline, just use a stronger leader
Cheers

i live 5 minutes away from the docklands and i have been sqeezing in an hour here and there to fish there, but not recently as the bream there seems a bit too educated at the moment. as pete said, they probably know every hard body or soft plastic brands and models and colours there is to know by now.
