HB Trebles
To change or not to change, that is the question???
Anyone suggest / recommend which HB's need their trebles replacing straight out of the box? Or have the times changed in the last 5 years.....? And which brands and sizes (of trebles) ppl have had the most luck with? Kinda fell out of the fishing scene for a while there  Thanks Guys........ Langers

replace all the lures u get wid owner trebles cause they r the sharpest and they dont rust luke

All hooks will rust eventually... I have owner hooks in my jigheads and they rust if i dont wash my gear down.
I use gamakatsu round bends on mine and in size 12 i use gladiators. Lots of people use stingers but im happy with what i have for the tiome being

Baby vibe trebles epecially need to be replaced, one good breamski hooked will more times than not bend the hooks!! i learned from experience. Now i just change every lures trebles straight out the pack.

if u by sx 40s and 48s there is no need the change hooks but on vibs and lazer pros i would change the hooks to stingers

Whos doing that?? the only time ive ever heard of people changing to single hooks on lures is at a place called Shady Camp, on the barrage wall there, in the NT, and thats only because its illegal to have trebles whilst fishing, at least when i was there 9 years or so ago. You sure you dont mean changing to a single treble. A lot of people inc me take off the middle treble leaving the end on only.

ah yes now i know what yous mean
but i have seen a pic on here of some 1 with 2 singles 1 on each anchor point thingy, and read some where that some 1 uses single hooks in the snagey areas but that could mean single trebels sorry my bad they do it on metal slices as well though 4 tailor
