best cheap reel

gday
i am planning to upgrade my combo
just doing some research on what would be a nice 1500 size reel to match with a berkley dropshot 6'6. i only want to spend around $120 and was thinking a shimano sahara or sedona. i have had a look at these and they seem good with the sahara being slightly better. i havent had a look at any diawas but if there is one that is decent and in my price range i wouldnt overlook it.
please state yout opinions on what you think would be best in that price range.
cheers
luke

You should be able to get a Daiwa Laguna for around $140 if you shop around (Perth prices). Since its only a few dollars more than what you budgeted for, may be worth looking into the Daiwas too. The Cappys are better than the Lagunas but way beyond your price range. I heard there is another Daiwa that comes below the Laguna that is also used for lure fishing but can't recall what it's called, have look on the Daiwa website. I have a Laguna 1500 and 2000 and happy with it. As I have nothing to compare with, I can't advise you on which is better.

Good luck.
