broken rod butt

went fishing with a mate in his boat on the weekend and while trying to step out of the boat. he slipped and fell back and landed on my rods.

while he didn't brake the rods, he did brake the cork off the butt on my bream rod.

where can i get some new cork and how do i replace/repair the end of my rod?

i dont want to shorten the rod,

Mark

rod repair

Mate you have got 2 choices I think. Can you glue the cork back into place, not knowing what the damge is though. The other option is to cut enough back and put a rubber or a graphite but cap on it.

Some pics would help with options you could do.
