Thumbs up

spotters!!!

get some in amber.
I was blown away by mine until they got nicked two weeks ago in albany.
And remember, in popular fishing areas, alway, i repeat always, wear them at all times

go the spotters.
i showed my spotters to pete s the other day and i think he said they are better (pete, you would have to verify that)

the cheapest place to get spotters (to my limited knowledge) is Whitworths
www.whitworths.com.au
@ $199

check it out guys and gals!

stalkers lens clarity and polarising are awesome!!!

the only downside to them is the weight. im use to wearing cycling glasses that weigh 30gms. after a couple of hours i get a sore bridge of the nose from this weight. i tried on kevins spotters (thanks kev...you might have just cost me $199 ) and the weight difference is significant.

i havent fished with spotters so its impossible to compare fish sighting differences between them

I have Stalkers and Makos... the Makos are a glass lens and more expensive, whereas I only have polycarb. Stalkers, so I can't really compare.

Maui Jims beat them (and Sport Optics) hands down, but you sure pay for it, especially the Titanium framed ones... I have never tried a pair of Spotters but they seem to get good reports...

Hey guys, try Mako's. Best sunnies I've come across and Campbells in Leederville have them for really good prices.
Have a squizz at www.campbellsprotackle.com for more details.

Cheers
Dale

If you are going to spend $200 - $400 on sunglasses you might as well have the best. My opinion on "best"? Serengeti's - no competition. I've owned all sorts of sunnies, and what the ad for Serengeti's says is true - "Once you have worn them, you will wear nothing else."

The fishing was challenging but good.
Got a fair bit of info from the locals at the king tavern.
Also got stiched up on a six weight fly rod by what i assume was a mulloway further upstream.

incidently, i wondered whether the rivers may hold the occasional GH?
I know ists a long way south but you never know anymore....

I tried a pair of stalkers for about 2 hours a week or so ago while my mate tried my Spotters. Not a long test & not under varying conditions but in my opinion the Spotters were better by a fair margin. My mate went & bought a pair of Spotters so I leave it at that.
