hey guys

Hey guys got a glass hull and building a casting deck on it. the pic is the part i am talking about. i have cut the front off so it from the bourd forward i need to find some how to brace it but not got though the hull do u guys have any ideas for me that would really help

Send in a photo of what you have cut out.

I think you are asking how to mount a brace without screwing into the hull????

Use fibreglass. Many boats are braced using a marine ply brace that is laminated with FG. Fibre glass is tuff stuff.

You can attach it to the sides of your hull by cutting strips of the glass and laying them so that the weave is at 90deg to each other between the epoxy and keep just building it up.

Does this make sense???

Perhaps breamingwithjoy could pull out microsoft paint on this!!!!!

you could build your self up a frame like janos has done HERE so you can have storage underneath and whack some ply over the top to make the deck.
