Stren Magnathin

I was in the Gold Coast and the next best thing to fishing is browsing the tackle shops and I'm very impressed with their range of stuff. I even saw a rod that made me drool!! It was a Loomis GLX spin rod!!! The price was also somehting to gawk at... $1000+ . Anyway, back to leaders, I saw for the first time, the Nitlon, Yamatoyo and Stren Magnathin. I bought myself a small spool (10m I thnk) of 3 lb Stren Magnathin and was wondering how they'd perform. I know that Starlo was constantly mentioning them when the hype of breaming first started...

I probably didn't really look for it hard enough but I had some problems trying to get Yamatoyo and Nitlon leaders here..

The Stren would have to be my second choice for sure. Not bad and well priced.

I know someone will know what Im talking about when I say go the "Grand Master Funk" leader, did you come across any of that at the show.

Im yet to see let alone try the stren stuff, so i`ll have to stick to what I can get my hands on which is Yamatoyo, performs ok for me.

cheers
