Good leader lines for bream?

Hey guys I need to buy more leader line and i was wondering what are your favourites? also whether i should go 4 or 6 pound? I fish plastics with 4 pound braid. Is Berkley Vanish Fluro any good thats what i was looking at buying.

FC rock is the go nowdays for quality/value for money, 4lb for most applications, 6lb for heavy snags, 6lb is fine for a do-it-all leader thou.

Unitika Aiger III in 6lbs only because it's thinner than a 5lbs FC rock which would be my second choice

I'm pretty sure sniper is a standard mono fc line not actual leader. The berkley stuff isn't bad, I mostly use Daiwa tournament fc but will be giving the aiger ii a go next or fc rock bream special.

Toray super hard upgrade has been my favourite recently. I used to fish fc rock but have recently swapped to upgrade and have never looked back. real quality. it comes in a 150 meter spool to and comes in at a very affordable price. It is listed as a spinning fluoro on the fish tec website but it is still a great leader IMO

I've used Berkley vanish for about a year and haven't had any problems. The 50m spools are nice and small, easy to store in the tackle bag without taking up too much room.

Really? Vanish is one of the worst leaders on the market IMO. It frays really easily, its supposed breaking strain is a load of DohDohDohDoh and it stretches which leads to the leader coiling. I thought I've possibly gotten a bad batch but nope, tried it numerous times still the same old story.

Haven't had any of those problems mate, and I've used from 4 to 15lb.

I have been thoroughly disapointed with my spool of Sunsline FC Rock in 6lb it kinks like crazy, and doesn't knot as well as some of the others. If i didnt have 100m of it i wouldn't bother. Might leave it for rigs etc. Will replace with Rockfish. On the other hand Sunline Super FC Sniper is one of the best straight through Fluoro. I used some left over as leader line and its tops in 4lb.

Get a combination of 6lb (all round) and 4lb (finesse) line and by far the best in leader line alone, Yamatoyo Harris Fighter in 4lb and Rockfish in 6lb is the best in my opinion. Perfect lines to handle (softer), knot and strength. You can see the quality on the spool. And easy to get hold of as well.
