Leaders

Hi just wondering if using a swivel to join a leader onto the main line would still be ok using HB lures, and what length should the leader be cheers

Rob i would really recomend you dont use a swivel to join the leader because you will need atleast one rods length on leader and when you cast out lures you only have your line coming out of the end of your rod by about 10-20cm before casting it out.
So the swivel would have to be able to go through the guides(rings that the line goes threw) and it would most likely get stuck if it even fits.
I use 2 rod lengths of leader line which is 6lb berkley Vanish

Theres a knot to join your leader to your mainline most of the guys use on this site but i carnt remember exactly what its called.
