The thing that is repeated so often is ...
"Go as slow as you possibly can, then slow it down another 50%" Basically you want them moving very slowly, with some pauses and twitches. There are times when the bream will hit faster moving lures, but very slow is a good place to start

Sorry my English is really bad i know!!!
Let me start it over again...for fishing in the river....for example now in Melbourne the wind is blowing ESE 9 km/h...what i mean to ask is that for SP/HB how many km/h consider to be not suitable for fishing....coz of the strong wind. Sorry!!!! |

Oh, I see now.
Mate, fish in whatever your comfortable in. The fish generally don't mind. Generally a bit of wind chops up the surface and this can make fish less timid which is definately a good thing. I don't pay attention to the numbers really, but so long as your comfortable casting you should be able to fish happily. If the wind is too strong, there should be some good footy on on the weekend

as long as its safe to fish you can fish in any wind conditions, i fished the hawksbry river last weekend and there was wind of over 100kph in gusts, still caught fish, made life difficult but anything is possible! hardest part was beinbg able to wind fast enough to keep the slack out of the line we were drifting that fast.
