The weight is fixed. I'll see if they have any plans on making a lighter version. I'd mostly be using them around structure on my snags setup with 6lb+ leader so I'm not too fussed about the weight.

80MM and 12 grams. Fair to say a bream wouldn't be able to scoff that, hookups would be few and far between. That's based on the shape but, I understand bream wouldn't have an issue with say a 80mm minnow style plastic.

They are a lot smaller than you think mate. That 80mm is from the very tip of the extended legs. The body itself would be lucky to be 25mm across.

yeah, it does limit the application a bit. 7/16oz is pushing it for most bream rods.

Dropping down a pylon should not affect the rod, only whippy casts etc. You would be able to slow roll it easier along the bottom at that weight like a crab walking.
