Vic Bream Mallacoota

Day one results, some good bags, looks like a good comp with Coota producing despite the weather, wish it would bloody stop raining although i'd rather be out there atm then stuck here indoors.

Speaking of Vic Bream Classics, ive had to pull out this year due to family commitments ect but i would like to fish my home turf in October for the Metung rnd, if there are any boaters who need a partner or are thinking of entering i am keen, will chip in all the usual costs ect and have a spare bed for if needed. PM me if you are keen, i do have some good local knowledge being from Paynesville/Raymond island and have been known to pull a fish or 5 from my waters, not the worst fisho nor the best on the planet but give it my all so if you want to hook up with a local i could be your man

Well done Jesse and Matt on the win!

The flood water that pushed down on Saturday certainly made things challenging come Sunday morning.

Those who adapted their game plan to the conditions caught some great bags on the Sunday!

We're still happy with an 8th place finish with a 10 fish bag for 9.42kg.

14, 9kg+ bags, unreal!

I am itching to come back as soon as I can, what a great place!
Never short of surprises and is certainly a place for big Vic. Breams.
I would trade any fishing for the one like the last weekend despite of weather. It was great to have a partner on board who could drag a few 34 ttf out of some nasty snags with me just watching and shaking my head
Well done Paul, saved the day for sure

Congrats to the top ten, the bream really turned it on along with the weather. Was a tough weekend for us, we got our ten fish but the size was way down on what was needed.

No mate, the fishing was great as usual. As Paul said our bag of 9.42 kg only took us to the 8-th spot. But I am not complaining. Just happy to be on the water

However what was different this time was that the left trailer tyre blew at 110 km/hr.

Managed to pull over, only a small piece of rubber was still attached to the rim which was apparently a writeoff as we later discovered.

As it may happen, left my toolbox at home for the first time but a kind gent in a van stopped and offered us his tools which helped us enormously at that time of the night..

Put the spare under heavy rain, got to Mallacoota just fine but took it easy driving the rest of the trip.

A big thanks to Team Berkley (Mike and Brad) for stopping when they saw us on the side of the road to make sure we were ok.
Also, thanks to Dean (Team Austackle) who managed to get us a new spare and a rim from Bairnsdale to Mallacoota on Sat. that we could safely get back to Melbourne on Sunday night.

Other than that, business as usual Can't wait to come back.

Cheers
