Hi all,
Being a new member to the ABT I was just wondering what the go is with the TAG as well as the other stuff to go with it... Has anyone received there's yet? Or am I being impatient. Cheers Kyle |

I believe the TAG that arrives in Jan is from your membership from the previous year ie I got mine in Jan 2012 for my 2011 membership.
If you have only just joined for 2012 you will most likely get it with your membership pack which are normally sent out in Feb. The membership packs are being held off so the AFC DVD can go in them as well. |

Oh that's cool, I wasn't being impatient or anything just wasn't sure when it was supposed to be arriving.
The afc vid will be a cool inclusion, hopefully it's the new one Cheers Kyle |

Correct - existing members will have been posted their TAG in January as the final part of their 2011 membership.
All new and renewing members' kits are awaiting the AFC VIII DVD, which is about two weeks away. As soon as the last episode was completed and aired, the masters were completed and it was sent away for duplication. This is the fastest possible turn-around time for us and I made the decision to hold the kits until these arrived, since they're the biggest component of the membership, dollar-wise. The plus side is that you're now getting a 'current' AFC series with the kit rather than a 'year-old' one. Anyone fanging for a copy of the TAG can read it for free online at www.tournamentanglerguide.com.au Anyone cranky can send me a PM or call the ABT office on (07) 3387 0888, where we can tell you exactly the same thing. You don't need your ABT Membership Card or kit to start entering tournaments - we'll have your details on the database if you have sent your form in. Cheers, Steve Morgan |
