I like a full locked double blood knot if you get what i mean. Really small knot and have not had it fail on me

Daiwa sensor is excellent, long life out of it is one of the best features.
High knot strength, and when a rare wind knot pops up it is one of the best and easiest for getting them out. Have caught good mulloway on 4 and 6lb, sensor its good to have faith in a braid Super pe is good for the money, but in no way the same league as sensor. Chop

Sensor is really good braid. Its got great knot strength, reasonably thin diameter and retains its breaking strain a lot longer than most other braids. It is all i run on breamming gear at the moment, and on another level compared to super pe.

i have just got my first spool of 4lbs daiwa td sensor braid and have only used it 3 times on my 1000fb twin power, it performed well to tie knots with it feels nice however i did get the mamoth of all wind knots on the 2end day wich resulted in the line getting cut and new leader being tied on was well pissed off

yes this is sometimes unavoidable (working small topwater lures, unweighted plastics etc) but every now and then belt out a decent cast and wind back in pinching your line. its not that hard. |

there are so many people that go out any buy expensive braid and then complain about windknots. windknots are not the braids fault. they are caused by you not winding it back on the spool tight enough, and the resulting loosely wrapped coils then coming off unevenly.
If the spool is full as well it can cause loops. Also reels not with the correct oscillation pattern can amplify the problem. Im not fussed if the spool is down a bit. Braid still casts well low on a spool. Its easy enough to top it up with a bit of carbon any rate. As said before using light lures, pinch the line between fingers every few casts to pressure the line back on. Its about line management.

I have only gotten a few wind knots/birds nests in the 6lb class of the TD sensor braid, and boy, there was no getting those out. Resulted in a fair few meters of line lost which wasnt too good.
Saying that it probably is one of the better lines I have used. Another line which seems to be not quite as used is the yamatoyo braid. I forget exactly what type/name, however it was bloody awesome and costs around the same as sensor braid. Even up to 16lb it is bloody thin, GREAT knot strength and hasnt had one birds nest yet. |

Thanks for the replies everyone,
Still a bit unsure about the braid but daiwa sensor is probably the top choice, also I'll make note to pinch the line every few casts. Also I would probably consider buying Sunline but no fishing store sell that certain kind of sunline here .-Pivot- |
