Not sure if this topic have already been done but, just wondering what people thoughts are on daiwa braid. Like knot strength, wind knot censitivity etc.
Cheers,

$85 is the price on the product in the local tackle store, which is a bit of a rip off anyway!
I'd be intersted to see what other people have to say about this product, as i wouldnt mind trying it, if i can source it a bit cheaper!

If you like the look and the fact that it is 8 carrier braid then have a look at frog pe and if you can still find it basshard. same colour and very good braid. you can pic it up for much less than TD sensor.

Love the TD Sensor/Basshard in 6lb. Had a few windknot issues with the 4lb early on, but it seems to have settled down now.

For half the price though, 8lb Super PE has been fantastic as well...

I think the next lot of braid that I buy will be the 8lb Super PE... What to reckon it would look like on the new Caldia?

what he said
i've been using bass hard for a few years now and its awesome. 6lb is thin enough for me (pe0.6) best braid for knot strength i have found so far.

It's expensive due to the fact that it is a 8 strand braid hence the higher cost. The Sunline Super PE is a 4 strand braid - cheaper. You get what you paid for.

But both are great lines.

Knot strength of TD Sensor is excellent btw. Very soft and super limp.

Cheers,
Alex

i currently use 4lb td sensor on one of my setups and find it casts a mile, its extreamly smooth and limp with great not strength. my only problem is the occasional wind not wen the line is wet...? if i buy it again it wil probly be in 6lb.

6lb super PE hasn't had a single wind knot with me so far, its been a great braid for casting distance, knot strength and stretch. My mate has the orange sunline in 4lb and is like spider web its so thin, PE 0.3. He hasn't had a single problem with it either, it has absolutely insane feeling through the braid to you can pick the slightest nips. The 90$ price tag is a bit rich though....
