hey nigel great to have you on the site. if you're looking for tips then go into JM Turville in the city and look for the lanky guy, he is mainly a biat fisherman but if you let him touch your feet (don't ask why) he should be able to give you some advice on where to go and how to get them.

cheers

Hey welcome.
In the reverse, have you got any pointers or favorite spots to share in the Lake Tyers system?
I am keen to start exploring further afield and Lake Tyers really looks the goods. Cheers.

hey nigel, welcome to breammaster.

If you're ever in town and wanna catch up for a fish, i'm always keen for a session. Be good if you could teach us a few tricks of the trade. I think we might have bumped into your brother a few weeks ago at lake tyers. Gun fisho, unbelievable at catching mullet. What do you do for a living?

Gee if that was his brother it sounds as though you were lucky to escape without a spear stuck in you!

Welcome aboard Nigel,
As mentioned by BWJ most luries are form this forum and generally friendly, except for Conehead. Dont approach him from behind his lesbian fobia is out of control.
Ice is right good luck with the Dockies bream smarter than your average bear.
See ya on the water some day.

LOL - I can relate to that... Went to Tassie recently with my new 'soft plastic set up'. Thought that it would be too easy to catch trout... I returned from Tassie with my slightly used 'soft plastic set up' without one fish to my name...

I would love to tag along if someone organises a gathering for Newbies. I work in the Docklands area, so it's nice and convenient.
