				Best storage trays for Hardbodys?

With all the premium hardybodys we are purchasing these days I am finding it hard to find appropriate tackle Trays. Many are too thick and wide in terms of compartments (fine for barra lures but not bream) which means alot of wasted space, and I personally like to have each lure seperate so they are easy to get to and don't damage each other. For my premium lures I am keeping them in smaller tackle trays but this means having to to get a few trays out when one bigger one would be better. Any suggestions on some good tackle trays for small hardbodys would be great. Cheers Captain

I use the Shimano Baltica tackle bags, they come with 5 trays and enough room to store leader, pliers, scissors, scents, a few packets of plastics and anything else you need for a days fishing, I have 4 trays full and leave the other one empty for when I go LB fishing and only want to take certain lures.

Plano Flip Sider (pn:3714) I modified the trays with a hot knife to allow three SX40 size lures to hang in each compartment, but if I was doing it again I would just do two per compartment

That's an awesome setup, with the modifications. How large are those Flipsider boxes, and what model number?

I use these things:http://www.fishingtackleunlimited.co...L-3450-22.html The underside contain 12 compartments perfect for SX40's ans can fit anything up to about 57mm. The topside is not as handy for the Bream fisho but is quite handy for putting all your bigger lures in. I Can fit a Rapala X-Rap 10 in there. It's be great though if they made one so that there 24 possible compartments instead of the 18. I've got the smaller version of the lure box which contains 20 smaller compartments which don't fit SX40's in, but they fit smaller bream lures really well |
