G'day Jarrad
I make a lot of my own rods. I have made a few for a couple of mates of mine. I have just started to make light Bream weight rods,ie 1-3 kg and 2-4kg, 6 and 7 foot jobs. All have been rolled on Speed Samurai blanks so far. I wouldn't mind getting hold of a blank from Black Diamond and make one up on it. I have a Bream Reaper and I think that it is a very nice and crisp rod. Living in Wollongong, I might have to get up to their factory??? and see what they sell.
Any questions mate about rolling your own, just ask away.
Cheers
Brenden
