First fish on a lure

hi

i caught my fist fish on a lure yesterday
i caught it at ascot waters about 30cm away from shore
but the fish was only about 10cm
but its a start
now atleast i know the lures work now

Well done :-)
Once you've done it once and you believe it is easier to keep fishing with lures and know you will get fish.

Twenty casts without a touch and then bang, your retrieve is stopped solid and the rod bends and pulses as the fish realises it has made a mistake and tries to get away.

congrats breamsrus.

you've done it the right way....start small and work your way up to the big buggers

...no point starting big....what do you have to look forward to then??
