Advice on new rods
Currently looking at expanding my quiver of rods while I have the money to do so. Looking at a bass/bream racks and structure rod for all round use (topwater/pink grubbing/plastics/hardbodies), as well as a heavier plastics rod for big flatties, jewies and snapper casting up to 1/2oz max. Looking for any advice on what you use or what you'd buy; hoping not to go as top end as another megabass, looking more towards td commanders and down. What I've found
Bass/structure/racks rod: - black label 641lxs 4-10lb 1/32-3/8 - harrier 641lxs 4-10lb 1/32-3/8 Jew/Snapper rod: - commander armouraider 3-6kg 4-12g - nitro baby viper 3-6kg 9-40g Leaning towards the commander armouraider for the heavier setup and the harrier if it's just a blinged up version of the black label. Open to other suggestions!

They are all good rods but I reckon the Amouraider would be a great rod.

Just picked up an armouraider on the weekend for the same task. Havent fished it yet, but it feels brilliant.

Wondering if you ended up grabbing the Black Label 641LXS and can give some feedback?

The Armouraider seems like a good rod. I was looking at getting this for a heavier estuary outfit.
One question though - what on earth is a 1 and a half piece rod? |

A rod where the join is down low, generally at the front of the foregrip.

Ended up getting the harrier, but had a decent play with the black label and can say it's a very nice rod, nice fast action for plastics and fairly stiff through the bottom 3/4. A perfect bass rod, slightly softer than the harrier and possibly a better allround rod, but I took the blingier approach with the harrier

I like the sound of the black label. I want something to ping lightly weighted plastics in tight to structure out of the yak. Does being 6'4 reduce casting distance much? |

Haven't had a great deal of time to use it yet but from the time I've spent with it in hand I rate it very highly! Absolutely love the thing, if you can get one at a good price I'd go it over the black label for snag bashing for bass etc. and I find 6'4 to be ideal for around structure; giving you both length and accuracy without hampering casting distance or pin point casting too much

ALSO any idea how the Gen Black Pinster compares to these? Roughly the same line rating, but they describe it as a light hardbody rod. You can use it for whatever you like, but I'm hoping it's best suited to lightly weighted plastics in structure. Even surface lures near racks and sharp stuff?
