G'Day Pete,

Warren has put them on the front page of the website.

Things that he has added to the online store over the weekend.

Go to the home page and they are on the left hand column.

I used the Mustad fly snaps yesterday and found them quite usefull. The are made of a very hard metal and is some cases require a needle nosed pair of pliers to open them. I did land a few fish and did not experience and problems. That is until one of the packets blew out of the boat. Keep them in your pocket or something. I think you get 12 to a pack but they are mixed sizes. The larger ones are great for hard bodies and the smaller ones should be ok for jigs.

Madaff,

Is the idea of the clips easy jig head, lure swapping?

Do they work as good as tying straight through?

Thanks

Yes it would benfical for lure swapping but I think the advantage is that it will allow the lure/jig to swing freely much the same way as a loop knot but without the fatigue. It could help with anti snagging. If the jig comes in contact with a snag having a pivot point MAY allow the jig head to kick up the hook point. Most anglers are using fairly light leaders so being able to match the line diameter to that of the snap should provied a stronger connection. Well thats the theory anyway.

And don't forget - the next fisho that catches a fish on the clip won't be the last

Your right Dave, have been using Sampo 1BXCC ball bearing snap swivels for 9 years now and will continue to do so for a long time yet. Haven't had line twist problems in all that time and don't expect to.
