Hi guys I am going to mosmans in the next week or so in chase of some mulloway. The only problems are
I do not know where it is. Don't no what kind of bait to use. And do not know how to fish the place. If anyone knows any of these problems cold they please tell me. Thanks andrew ps is this place any good for bream or flathead. |

sorry mate I cant tell you anything about the mulloway but I do know it is a great spot for Flathead and tailor. I caught three flatties there a few weeks back.

I fished mosmans a couple of weeks ago and got a couple of nice flatties around chidley point also had a few other hits.

Point Roe just down from Chidley is also a great spot for flathead.

I got talked into buying a new lure for flatties called STORM thunder crank Does anyone know any thing about them ?? Thanks John

Hi Johno,
I received some samples from the Storm guys the other day and I'm really impressed with the Wildeye Curl Tail Minnows. Not sure where you can get them here. Hunt around. There are some great colours, and the action is pretty swish.

Hi bear
Getaway camping in Canningvale has a good range of storm lures I think I will try point roe this afternoon on my way to the eye specialist. this thunder crank lure is a hard body swimming depth 4' - 8' will let you know how i go John |

gday guys
i scored those free storm lures in a magazine i have tried them out and they work well on the flathead i got 6 renging from 40cm to 60 cm all went back ofcourse and i reckon theyu would work on the jewies. thanks michael

flathead
do`es anyone know if it is better to fish for flathead on a low tide or on a high tide ??
Caught my first fish (flathead) on a soft bait this evening. it was sooo small i dont know how it got the hook in his (her)mouth (sorry ladies ) John

I have found it's best around and hour to an hour and a half either side of the high tide.
