Suspect a number posts may have already been all over this topic but as a new lad on the block have a Shimano Twin Power 4000 15-20lb braid and want to match to a rod for snapper soft plastics fishing around Sydney, eg. Long Reef etc., Have been advised the Nitro Magnum 4-6kg 7'6" 2pc is the bees knees!!! What's the go?

I find the magnum butt a bit to long and cumberson for working plastics all day.

For pinkies up to 6kg i love my loomis SJR 783
For bigger pinkies or when fishing deep water i use a TD slatwater 10-17lb

i much prefer using 6ft.6 rods for pinks.
