Hws hook sizes

This may be a silly question but I'm ordering online so I want to confirm. Are the TT hws jig heads the same size as the normal jig heads? Also for example the 1/8th hws weight how bulky is it? Would it be too big for inside a powerbait minnow 3inch with out ripping the guts out of it?

Cheers guys/gals

hey mate, i dont know about the bigger hook sizes, but most of mine a 2 and 2H. These do seem smaller (both length and gape) when compared to my other #2 bream nitros.. they look a little more like #4 hooks...

As far as the weight goes.. something like a minnow should be alright to put a 1/8 in, but it will depend on the hook size, because the bigger the hook, the more they can distribute the weight..

I mostly use 1's and was planning on getting 1/0,1 in the 1/8th, 1/12 hws plus a fee other smaller sizes for the bream.

the difference in hook gape and length shouldnt be enough to warrant you going with a bigger hook size... Id still go the 1/0 and 1 and im confident that the 1/8oz will fit inside a minnow hope that helps

I've never used the 1/8th but it sounds massive for a 3 inch minnow.
cheers nereus

Yeah figured as much. Not the only plastic I want to use it on but I can only try. I much prefer a 1/12 on the 3" minnows.
