Thumbs up dilligence

"touchea" Trouty!
on on your comments about keeping net activity quiet, but this is a forumn on banning inland netting, although I didn`t realise it was illegal to insite people to rip out & cut up Illegal nets I.E nets left unattended, nets set accross river openings etc.& as for those people who sort license to pilfer easturine fish,I see them to be no different from Bunnings & CALM pilfering our states tree`s & profiteering from them.Yeah sure everyone has the right to make a living but like the loggers I think re-education has to happen for these people. As for PI`s & all that scare mongering middle management poop trouty you would have to agree there are many rivers & little resourses to police them that is why there is so much illegal netting. My biggest concern for safety is for that of the net owners as I am not a boy & neither are the other lad`s on this Quest to rid our river`s of pilferers.

agree BP... there arent thre resources to police them - have only ever seen 1 fisheires officer in all my years on the water, I know they exist but outside the airconditioned ofice envirnment they are as rare as the thylacine round these parts!

Last illegal net I found down the Donnelly, i dug outta the sand, emptied the dead rotting mullet and trout from and gave to the Fisheries office in busso - to "donate" to the East Timorese so they could catch emselves a feed a fish.

Cheers!
