Rnd 1 Scott Park Southern Bream Series

the first round of the Scott Park Southern Bream Series, the Battery World Albany Bream Comp was run and won on the weekend. it was a great turnout for the first event with 11 teams competing. it was a great day out on the water with everyone thoroughly enjoying themselves.

the slow race out of the marina.

plenty of good fish caught. Keith of team "CAVEMAN"

Steve of team "CRANKA"

also a new PB for Andrea of team "CRANKA" 35 cm fork length

some big bags were weighed in, team "BREAM ARE GAY" took out the comp with a 4+ Kg bag of 5.

Ryan from team "BREAM ARE GAY" with one of their big bream.

Big Bream for the day was taken out by Ben of team "BREAM-A-HOLICS" measured 39 cm fork length and 1.3 Kg. A new PB for Ben.

so in the end, the winners were

1st: team "BREAM ARE GAY" 4+ Kg
2nd: team "CRANKA" 3.6 Kg
3rd: team "CAVEMAN" 3.6 Kg

a big thankyou to the series sponsor of Scott Park Homes, the round sponsor of Battery World Albany who kindly donated the prizes for the round, the AOFBC for the use of thier facilities for the weigh in and to Korg and Stu Klose for the organisation and running of the event.

the next round will be held on Saturday the 4th of December in walpole for those interested in coming along.

The river fished a treat Dror best Ive experienced in some time. The bags speak for themselves with plenty of fat fish about.

Another of Andrea's PB Was really happy for her. Had a great arvo and hope a few guys from Perth and surrounds make it for the December round.Loved the relaxed feel of this comp and would recommend it to people looking to fish their first comp for sure.

Cheers Steve
