Folks
Am seriously considering buying a 3.5m Stessl Tripper with an old 9Hp Yamaha for $2000 ono. Am no expert but can tell the old Yammy has seen better days and I would try and use it as a trade-in on something more reliable and don't think its worth too much. What I was hoping is that someone could offer some insight into the performance of the boat. I am looking for a stable hull to sneak around our local creeks in as shallow as possible water. This could be my first boat and any help on what to look out for would be greatly appreciated. |

Hey Kev
Mate if your anything like your name suggest's a 3.5 may not be the best option for you " for Bream spinning" as i reckon it may not handle heavy weights too well.
Not to mention if you ever wish to fish a tournament in the near future it won't be big enough, as you need to be at least 3.75 and have a 20 horse on the back. Bear in mind i havn't seen what your after and you have only given me a very broad angle to give advice to, if all you want to do is soak baits and laze around in the sun with a stubbie she's probably right up your alley Regards geoff
