spin for travel
anyone know of a good quality 4 piece light spin travel rod around 7 foot for $150 - 200? possibly with a case? and what store stocks em?

I have an Okuma 4 piece spin rod that came with hardcase. $140 I think.
Not bad but guides could be better. Hooked on Bait and tackle, old geelong road hoppers crossing has them. I am sure, maybe ring fisrt and go have a look at one. |

Without a doubt the Nitro Traveller is the rod for you ...bit more then $200 but its good enough to be both a travel rod and a main rod.

I bought my mate two of these to take to the Derwent round.
I could have bought one nitro but we both decided that at $370 the nitro was not twice as good as the okuma considering they cost 155% more . He used them to great effect and i have already ordered two more. Its your choice though and im sure you will enjoy which ever rod you buy. ![]() Kaine |
