Damiki Vault 35mm From Searing Tackle

New colours added to the range

The blade type lures have been proving themselves across the country at the moment and the Damiki Vault 35 has been no exception.

At 3.5 grams, the Vault is easy to cast and due to its mustard double hook, is pretty weedless. On a steady retrieve the Vault gives off a vicious vibration that attracts all types of fish. Due to the great success of the Vault -35, an additional 11 Holographic colours have now been added to the range bringing the total colours available to 21.

Among these new colours is the Iwashi range which is sure to be a hit with angler’s country wide.

The Damiki Vault has three holes on the top for attaching the clip. Each hole alters the action slightly.
Front hole. Place the quick snap clip in the front hole for maximum action when vertically jigging.
Middle hole Use this hole when fishing flats, banks or schooled fish when a medium to fast retrieve is required.
Rear hole. The use of this towing point gives the lure maximum vibration for slower retrieves.

The Damiki Vault is available at quality tackle stockists nationwide. For information on your nearest stockist phone 0404 719 914 or visit www.searingtackle.com.au

Got one of these in the 003 colour. Nice action but I found the double hooks too big and the front hole a litte hard to change the snap to.
A good lure for around $10 though.

these little blades / vibes work well, i have a few - had good results with the holo red gold and ayu. as the holo colours are only new to the market i've only fished the holo iwashi colours and had good results too. colour choice will obviously vary with conditions and location though

the w hooks also help to minimise snagging and they work really well when fishing over the flats bouncing them along the bottom

if you're looking for a new blade / vibe give these a run - they're priced well and represent good value

Love the paint work on these. I've got a few of their bluewater lures coming. Can't wait to give them a go.

Funny you say that Pete as some of us have swapped the trebles for the same hooks. Haven't had bad results on them so far.

I have done some testing with a few different types of blades and a light treble hook IMO makes all the difference in how good they fish. The light ST36 trebles in size 16 or 14 allow so much more action. I for one am not fussed if I lose lures to snags, but I dont like throwing lures at fish when they dont take them.

Also the vault seems to have the least amount of action to it, not sure why but it just doesnt seem to vibrate as much as other brands. Its a shame as the paint work looks pretty nice.

Heyah Bear, On some blades the W hooks make the lure fowl up on the line a lot more. I do agree that the W hooks fowl less on structure though.

Heyah bear, just used the standard w on the Damiki Vault 35. Da-houghsta was having the same problem with the W hooks and changed them all to owner trebles.
