Cool what an introduction!

hey there peoples,
what a weekend. Log onto the site on Fri, pay a visit to the store, get some good advice and I'm off. It just so happens that after chasing flathead all these years I was missing all the Bream, so I decided to target them on that lovely wet Sunday and picked up 3 sized fish. I thought i was doing well until I bumped into Evan who asked me if I had a camera to take a snap of his HORSE of a fish. Conservatively I'd give it 1.8kg, a few beers later, around 2flat. Nice one. Then Monday bumped into a few more of you out in the sun shine. Took two bream that could have doubled as lures but had a good day all the same.
hope to see more of you out there.

Cheers.
Sam

welcome to the site sam

good to hear you got a few- it took me ages to get my first fish on plastics

bummer that we couldnt snap that horse but i guess that it was better to watch it swim off then float off!!! the bit of line that i measured it with went 51cm!!!

we'll have to catch up for a fish sometime

cheers

Ev

G'day Sam - I'm the guy that was with Ev that actually caught the fish - I just let him call it his cause he gets a bit funny about not catching anything you see. Hahah. Anyway welcome to the site; probably see you around some time.

cheers

See Ya

hahaha look what you have started chris

Rhyss it was me that got the fish, i pulled it out from under the boats and around the pilons etc

the only way chris caught it would be if you could claim his thumb in the mouth grab from the water as a capture- not a bad effort getting a 50cm bream with your bare hands- pitty it had my jig in its mouth

it was caught a little further towards the city than freshy bay

Hahah no I didn't catch a fish anywhere near 50cm! My biggest in the last week or so was a mere 44cm in comparison!
