Retrive Methods

Hi

I am not farmiliar with soft plastic fishing and i have never caught a bream on soft plastics before. I have some bass master soft plasics in the pumkinseed coulour and some other dark green grubs. I do not know if i am using the right retrive method. I cast out, let the sp sink and then i slowly wind in. Everysouple of seconds i twitch the lure. Is this a good method??
What methods do you guys use??

Daniel

You will catch bream using that method Daniel. Vary the type & speed of retreive as well if your not getting hits. I don't think there is a right or wrong way of retreiving myself but if one type is not working change it around regularly until you get a bite.

Hi Daniel

Have a look at the various US websites and particualrly the bass sites out there. I would tone things down a little as bream arent as aggressive a bass i think more moody.

The cast a slow retrieval works well for me. If things are a little slow and i cant see any fish i cast then slow retrieve and a 2 - 5 second pause. Trying to keep the sp down low in the water. Also have a look at the action of you sp at various retrievals speeds.

Cheers
Stuie
