If your talking about the 1 - 3kg 2p one I think it rates more on the 2 - 4kg side and is a bit thick for my breaming liking but that being said may be perfect for a different style of fishing or larger jig heads. When using placcy's with 1/16th and below I use my 1 - 3kg Garry Howard (spaghetti stick) so that I can feel every bump and know exactly where my placcy is in the water column.

In the end whatever you feel confident with will be the best rod for you.

Cheers,

Mark

The standard ones are a nice stick but the tournement single piece versions are excellent. For under $400 they would be my choice in rod.
My fishing partner is sponsored by Nitro and has had a Tournement set for a few months and they live in my boat. Used them a few times and everyone else that fishies in my boat uses them if they didnt bring their own. Everyone has commented on how light they are and can't belive the feel of them.
The long one and the shortest one would be perfect to cover most breaming situations.

Ive got one and think it can handle really light jig heads and unweighted
placcies easily and it can handle larger stuff aswell. I agree it is more of a 2-4
kg rod but hey thats really just a advantage
pretty good alround rod for the price IMO
