Best Rod to Match Daiwa Sol 2000

Hi i have been looking aroudn for a while for a rod to match my Daiwa Sol 2000. I am after a 6,6 or 7 foot rod 1-3 kg. Under $300. I want it to be super light. with a fast action and a really nice slimline tip. Waht can you guys recommend and if you do recommend somethign also please recommend an online retailer to purchase from. thanx.

I have just had a look at the Black diamondCLEARCUT 6’6” 1-3KG (2pc)

I notice they have a ultra small but anyone used these rods and find this is a drawback. and are these really worth the money compared to the aboce for example.

I had the short butt on the Flatranger 1-3 and personally didnt like it. I found that the balance was less than good. Thats just my opinion though, a lot of people really like it.

I am pretty sure they will make all the rods with a longer rear grip if thats what you want anyway.

Dacord

The ultra short butt is magic on the CC and there are two ways to balance these rods. The power is really progressive on the 1-3kg and there's a lot more power than you would think at first look. I doubt you would be dissappointed.

Out out interest why are you after fast action?

i want a fast action so it does not almost bend in half when i cast a lure i got a diawa rod and it almost whacks me in the back of the head when i cast. dont really like that. but still want the tip to be sensitive and a bit flexi

The CC won't do that!

You'll find its very crisp even though being more moderate in action...not in the slightest bit sloppy.

Cheers

The starlo stick is a good choice.. I can cast 30gm lures easily without it folding, but can cast unweighted plastics far enough too. Im sure most rods in your price range will be suitable, its just a matter of how it feels in your hand...
