After receiving my first B/Diamond Rod,on Tuesday,I compared it with a friends Loomis.

"VERDICT" Black Diamond wins 1st-2nd & 3rd,without a second thought ;-)

Chase,
what model loomis did you compare it to? I already got a BD but was thinking of looking at a loomis somewhere down the track. Your thoughts would be interesting.

I too have compared my BD Clear-Cut to a Loomis (GL3) and they were about the same. But keep in mind the GL3's are about $100 dearer! Compared to say a GL2, I rekon the BD CC would win hands down.

I have updated the Flats deal. I now have one of these rods left. It is the 7ft 1-3kg. Great deal on an awesome rod. Few days left on this so grab it while you can. You can do a layby with deposit if needed.
