In answer to your questions ...
Questions for you
1. Who did you get to cut your pedestal seat shorter, 2. Whereabout do you put your battery when boating? And how do you connect the kota to the battery? Any picture if possible at all? Well I can't post pictures on PM I don't think so here it goes. 12 photos to follow, HTHs Cheers LR Last edited by Lone Ranger; 12-01-2006 at 10:38 AM. |

Trojan 130amps, for smart people
You will see the straps to tie down the battery box, bolted down.

The wiring runs from the battery, under the gunwhale on starboard, across the edge of the deck over to port and out the hole at the first picture.

Cut the seat post myself with the junior hacksaw. Took a while as only a small saw; it's the one I cut curtain rods with. Had to do it on three separate occasions as you can see as didn't want to accidentally cut too much off. Pretty straight for a small saw. Sanded down the bottoms and just pushed the black shoes back on as they had riverts on them originally. Even then it's still cutting into the marine carpets, from the weight and friction of turning, will put thick house carpets directly under to try.
Please PM when you have read this. HTHs Last edited by Lone Ranger; 12-01-2006 at 09:34 AM. |
