Yes very vital, nothing worse than fishing with someone who takes everything to seriously

Good wet weather gear.
Thank god for the Kokatat pants and a good jacket at this time of year down south.
And a good pair of polaroids are essential.

Gotta agree on the good quality sunnies.

Not fishing alone, both for safety and a bit of competition. Fishing with a mate is always good fun too.

I guess you could call them an accessory haha

I actually don't have a sounder on my Yak and most of the time and can find fish, during a few crappy sessions i started thinking of putting one on the Yak but i enjoy the experience of finding fish in my own generally.
I had a bloke in a bream comp come up to me when i was just getting started and my boat sorted ( no sounder or electric) and basically laughed at me and said i wouldn't catch anything without them... i finished 25 places in front of him that day

But there are times that they have help me, especially my sounder in un familiar waterways for navigation

Anyways my best accessory would either be my pliers or the old man he makes great sandwiches

You look like a marine/inspector gadget.

I nearly went on a fact finding mission to prove you right - but "mission" isnt the right term - The first folder I opened, had this photo as its cover page and it does the job.

Can't agree more, I left mine in the boot of the car recently when I had a prefish. I caught half the population of Flatties out the system that day and it was a nightmare getting the trebles out.

Cheers

I don't have a favourite accessory, but I would really like one of those soft-touch crayfish holders like "Dell" has in his avatar.
