Free lure pack for young angler

Hi all,

I have built up a large collection of lures that are not getting used, some I have received free from comp prizes & store sales. I have too many now & tend to off load some here,

I want to now give away 2 lure packs:
1. Hard body
2. Soft plastic.

To be 1 of the 2 to win one of these packs you need to provide herewith:
1. A picture of your favourite fish capture on bait or a lure and include a short brief telling why it is your favourite; maybe a hard capture, memory fishing with your dad or mum, or just has a funny tidbit.
2. Age of angler doesnt matter.
3. Post before 6th March 2011. The the winners will be advised on BM by pm.
5. I will include the postage to anywhere within Australia.

2 x Atomic Hardz, 3 x Maria's, 2 x Berkley MF40's, 1 x Ecogear SX40f, 1 x Gladiator Crank, 1 x Bassday Kangoku, 1 x Oargee lil Ripper & 1 x Bassday Sugar Minnow

What a great thing you're doing!

Here's my entry

Well the plan on the day was to put in at Forster Keys and head out to Green Point for a days fishing for whiting and flathead. Halfway there the motor was playing up which we later found out was due to the bushes in the prop. Well 6 hours later with no fish under our belt we decided to head home, and as we could only go 4 knots the whole way otherwise the engine would rev out, i decided to chuck a lure i got in the specials bin the day before for 5 bux on my line and have a troll on the way back. Nearly home and still nothing on the troll my confidence was very low, all of a sudden, BANG! ZZZZZZZ, Off goes my line from the spool and i was very worried using 6lb and after a 10 minute fight up came a 4 kilo shovelnose! Something to enlighten the day!

Pic added now guys, my bro is holding it as he doesn't know how to work the camera.

nice going man!!
heh you think your bad! i literally have 8 lures that can catch bream and half are all ripoffs!!
this fish was my first bream on lure and it was slowly stalikng it so i was very surprised to see it grab my lure as it would have easily seen me!! even though it was only being 25.5cm it was still what got me into breaming!
not to mention i also caught a squid that day on the very next cast! another first-squid on a bream lure!
i would also like to give a thanks to breaming suzie for having such a generous thought to get us kids in the outdoors and fishing! even if i dont win i will still be happy to see such generosity shown by suzie!
thank you suzie!

cheers, BTF

Fish with broken head

I was fishing with a Broken Head (cause my friends have caught big bream on lures, but not me) ooh my head was hurting when my reel started to scream, then my line went limp, and my head nearly exploded, yes you heard correctly my head nearly exploded, I thought I had lost my lure too, then I wound in my line and then the fish took off in the opposite direction, gave a good fight and landed a 34cm to the fork, not big but enough to stop my head hurting for a while, ooh im old but have only been fishing with lures this year.
