fireline colours
hi guys
am going to buy some 6lb fireline and was wondering if the colour makes any difference to the way the fish bite? because the fluro pink and yellow are high visiblility, wouldnt that scare the fish off? |

Nope the colour wont really make a difference to your catch rate, as long as you have the right length of leader.

Not if you use atleast a rod length of flurocarbon/leader.
You can get fireline crystal which is white, ive never used it. Cheers, Zac |

Viber,
If you are still concerned, use Fireline Crystal as Zac has said. It is no where near as visible as the Fireline pink or yellow. You will need a FC leader with the Crystal though.

fireline colours
The colour of the line is only coloured so you can see the line
you need to run leader line on it like flourocarbon or mono so the fish dont see the line. |

so if i get a greyish fireline that is low visibility, do i still need to run a flurocarbon leader?

Yes because the leader also acts as a shock absober and braid on its own has less knot strength compared to flourocarbon or mono
