Ohhh thats sounds good Scott, but i've found that the really big bream will only take 2kg+ squid, you'll only catch 2 or 3 kg bream on baby squid.

yeh that reel sounds sweet, Jarvid Walker are producing some tip top gear at the moment my favourite is the JW 2.1m telescopic rod, its great for handling those 10cm bream that fight so well. Very nice crisp rod.

Oscar.

On a serious note, good baits are:
presh prawns, mussels, boney herring

And in winter, u may wanna throw around some soft plastcs (mitch&chris prefers to call them SP's) such as bass minnows, and 2" grubs

Umm lets see. About 60 whiting from Werribee-Altona on Pipis in 4 trips last summer. I have caught bream on pipi from GWF whiel whiting fishing, a few pinkeis too. Pipi's work trust me....I swear by them

im not questioning a pipis ability to catch a whiting but considering he asked for "bream baits" ur suggestion of pipis was pretty useless.....

scott,im not sure what ur experiences are but i where i fish when i use bait the fish a very picky and fussy and wont touch anything that isnt live or fresh as.wat im saying is it may catch the odd bream here and there but it wont catch them as consistantly as baits such as bass yabbies, sandworms etc.
