Question Top 5 Hard Bodies to begin with

Still love fishing my soft plastics I want to get into some of the hard body action. I want about five to start with but I have only decided on the 3 so far the selection is:
1) Oar-gee JG
2) Oar-gee BR
3) Halco Sneaky Gold
4) ???????
5) ???????

Any suggestions on what to begin with?

Thanx Grant

Hey Grant..

I haven't come even close to using all the bream type lures out there yet, but I've found the Sneaky Scorpion in the "Fire Fin" pattern probably the best so far in my experience..it's caught 80% of my bream in the rivers that I've fished.

Can't get enough of the little suckers..Halco sure hit a winner there.

Hey Grant, throw in a Sneaky firefin for sure. You could also consider an Attack gold tiger or the Oargee PF or C. Dont overload too much on gold but if you are only looking for 5.

Don't forget the Rebel Crawfish, Smiling Jack's Raw Prawn (the clear pinky orange one) and I'm going to say this next one very quietly:

Rapala CD5 in 'Perch' pattern

They're hard to find though

Hey Guys
I also just got into hard bodies aswell and got my first fish on them the other day after about 1 hour. It was little but was still good fun. I used an orange and gold sneaky scorpion.
I've had a lot of hits with the poltergiest in the same colour but no hook ups. I might put smaller hooks on it.
The lures mentioned above sound good. Might get some!
Anyways, its good to see i'm not the only one just starting with the hard bodies.

what about an attack silver tiger or grey ghost,it will give you a different style hard body but still cover the mullet pattern.

dont forget the yo-zuri snap shad that warren is getting in, you can order them in packs of 5 so you'll have 10 in your selection.
[more to lose to really big bream]

Hey Grant,
As a few of the guys have mentioned, the Attacks are a top bream lure. Not meaning to bragg but I won the Sportsfish Hawkesbury bream comp using the fire tiger Attack.
Also have taken a lot of nice bream on the Rebel Crawfish, medium size,brown/copper back with orange underside.
Looks like you may have to extend your list of five .

Haha with all these selections I might have to take out a personal loan

Keen to get a yo-zuri snap shad but just want a small selection of assorted to start. Probly be all gone by the time I want to buy them. Mick I cant seem to find fire tiger colour in the attacks closest was Yellow Tiger / Red Scales which I do like. Wouldnt mind going with something other than oar-gee or sneaky.

Grant
