Guys just curious to know...is there any free programs where i can add words into the pic...for example Date the fish were caught, weight, length ect.....

If you're using Windows, you should have "Paint" in your programs list. You can open a pic and then add text, and, to a limited degree you can also edit your pic.

problems
everytime I post sumthing with an image attached it just puts a link up to click on to get to the image instead of displaying it on the thread, its really annoying when i see other people can do it, why not me'?

Which option are you using. Attach (the paper clip) will display the image instead of a link.
